Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report – Visual Redesign 2024 | Designliga
Brand Identity, Color Trends, and Visual Language – Communication Design for the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report
Rethinking inspiring color worlds – since 2024, Designliga, together with The Development, has been responsible for the visual and conceptual redesign of the Pantone® Fashion Color Trend Report. The report is considered an international benchmark for upcoming color trends in fashion, design, and communication.
Objectives of the redesign:
To make Pantone®’s already inspiring color names and descriptions not only linguistically but also visually tangible.
By combining artificial intelligence, conceptual design, and visual strategy, a new and innovative approach to color inspiration emerges – beyond traditional color samples.
The result is abstract, highly aesthetic, and surprising visual motifs that open emotional spaces and stimulate creative processes – from fashion to interior design, architecture, and brand communication.
Visual inspiration through AI-generated aesthetics
Each Pantone® color is translated into its own visual narrative through an AI-driven design process. The resulting visual worlds evoke textures, landscapes, surfaces, and atmospheres – intuitively accessible, open to interpretation, and deliberately non-explanatory.
Print meets editorial: The report as a newspaper
The New Yorker edition was also published as a large-format print product in the style of a newspaper – a tactile object that leaves the digital realm and offers inspiration to flip through. This transforms the trend report itself into an editorial experience
