Corporate Design for the Kulturkreis Grafenau

A visual identity derived from the architecture of Schloss Dätzingen

We developed a distinctive corporate design that communicates the organisation’s cultural work and the unique atmosphere of its events.

The design concept is derived from the architecture of Schloss Dätzingen, whose characteristic forms informed the visual language of the identity.

Based on this approach, we created a new logo and a coherent visual system, which extend across various printed materials for programme communication and publications, expressing the connection between musical quality, historic venue and the association’s long-standing cultural commitment.

Der Kulturkreis Grafenau wurde 1976 als gemeinnütziger Verein gegründet und organisiert Konzerte, Serenaden, Theater und Ausstellungen in und um das klassizistische Schloss Dätzingen.

Aufgabe

Entwicklung des neuen Corporate Designs und der Veranstaltungskommunikation.

Lösung

Als Gastgeberin der Konzertreihen und Serenaden ist Marion Koepf seit 1991 eines der prägenden Gesichter des Kulturkreis Grafenau. Mit ihrer Leidenschaft für Musik und unermüdlichem Einsatz lockt sie hochkarätige Künstler auf die kleine Bühne in historischem Ambiente. Im Fokus ihrer leidenschaftlichen Mission steht die Wertschätzung der Musiker, deren Virtuosität sowie die Interaktion zwischen Publikum und Bühne.

Das Schloss Dätzingen wurde 1607 vom Malteser-Orden erbaut und ist das zentrale Herzstück des Kulturkreis Grafenau. Diese räumliche Verortung bildet die Basis des Corporate Designs. Die Bildmarke des Logos leitet sich aus dem Malteser-Kreuz ab und wird durch eine Wortmarke ergänzt. Die markanten Formen des Schlosses finden sich in den geometrischen Gestaltungselementen des Corporate Designs wieder und bilden einen Modul-Baukasten für die Gestaltung der Veranstaltungskommunikation.

In den jeweiligen Kommunikationsmaßnahmen werden die streng geometrischen, wiederkehrenden Stilelemente des Absenders Kulturkreis Grafenau mit freien Gestaltungformen wie Scherenschnitt, Illustration oder Collage kombiniert. Auf diese Weise erhält jede Veranstaltung individuelle, frei gestaltete Medien, die durch Absender sowie die Farbgebung dennoch eine Einheit bilden. Dies ermöglicht eine hohe Wiedererkennung bei maximaler Freiheit in der Gestaltung der einzelnen Maßnahmen.

Die Kommunikationsmedien erscheinen regelmäßig in Form von Jahresprogrammen, Event-Programmheften, Flyern, Newslettern und Plakaten.
