Interior Design and Spatial Branding for our Agency

Halle A is our studio – Design office Designliga. As a former locksmith's shop of the Munich municipal utilities, the 10.4-meter-high space in the South power plant was gently transformed, consciously preserving the industrial character. Through targeted interior design and precise spatial branding, a work environment is created that combines the raw materiality of the hall with a clear design approach. The staging in the space picks up the textures and color moods of the surrounding brick architecture and simultaneously integrates the proximity to the Isar meadows, creating an open, atmospherically dense studio that harmonizes identity, function, and place.

Halle A ist das Atelier des Designbüros Designliga und ihres strategischen Partners im Bereich Web- und Anwendungsentwicklung Form & Code.

Aufgabe

Entwurf und Ausführung des Interior Design (LP 1-8), Möbelentwurf.

Die Halle A ist Atelier, Arbeitsplatz und Lebensraum für diejenigen, die hier arbeiten und für die, die uns besuchen.

Lösung

Die Halle A war bis zu ihrem Umbau eine Schlosserei der Stadtwerke München. Die 10,4 Meter hohe Halle ist Teil des Areals Heizkraftwerk Süd, das direkt an Münchens südlichen Isarauen liegt. Der ersten Intention folgend, den Grundcharakter der Halle zu bewahren, wurde aus ihr ein Atelier, das die industrielle Atmosphäre des Raumes mit einbezieht und die äußere Umgebung in das Innere hereinholt. Die Farbskala orientiert sich an den Materialien und Texturen des Geländes, in dessen Backsteingebäuden sich vor allem Handwerksbetriebe befinden.

Das Innere der Halle wird durch zwei Satteldachhäuser strukturiert, die mehrere Einzelbüros auf zwei Ebenen beherbergen. Zusammen mit dem ehemaligen Meisterbüro bilden sie ein Ensemble, das den Raum zwischen ihnen wie einen überdachten Dorfplatz wirken lässt. Es entstehen Zonen und Funktionsbereiche, die dem Raum trotz seiner Größe die gewünschte Intimität verleihen. Nach oben erschlossen ist der Raum durch die Obergeschosse der Häuser und die beiden Besprechungs- und Konferenzräume im ehemaligen Meisterbüro.

Vor der Planung wurden Interviews mit allen Mitarbeitern geführt, um deren Bedürfnisse zu ermitteln. So ist die Küche als privater Raum der Mitarbeiter konzipiert, die Bibliothek, um Besuch zu empfangen und als Ort spontaner Treffen. Die den Raum umlaufenden Schränke enden jeweils in einem Tresen, der den Anfang des Arbeitsbereichs markiert. In den Schränken ist eine Vielzahl von Funktionen zusammengefasst: Sie sind Stauraum und Ablagefläche, ebenso Steharbeitsplatz und Empfangstresen. Die Halle A ist Atelier, Arbeitsplatz und Lebensraum für diejenigen, die hier arbeiten und für die, die uns besuchen.
