Craftsmanship, Origin, and Space – Interior Design for Gastronomy as a Tangible Unit
Seeing, feeling, tasting, sensing is, alongside the core idea "From Field to Store Counter," which addresses the value creation process of bread, the guiding principle in the design, content communication, and perception of the bread manufactory.
Designliga developed a holistic interior design for the bread manufactory "Das Brot." that makes the journey of the bread spatially tangible up to the store. Design, materiality, and content communication interlock precisely and translate craftsmanship quality into a clearly structured, sensually perceptible spatial effect. The individually crafted floor acts as a central narrative element and tells of the origin, process, and uniqueness of each product.
Die symbolische Darstellung dieses Wertschöpfungsprozesses besitzt narrative und dekorative Eigenschaften. Gleichzeitig ist dieser Boden ein Zeugnis bedingungsloser Handwerksqualität. Entstanden in einer Kombination aus traditioneller Handarbeit und moderner Computertechnologie gleicht keines der rund 25.000 Einzelelemente des Bodens dem anderen und fließt in der Fläche zu einem Gesamtbild zusammen.
