Brückner Group – Brand Refresh
A consistent brand presence for an internationally operating corporate group
For the Brückner Group, Designliga revised the corporate design with the aim of unifying the brand architecture of the holding and its four business units into a uniform, consistent appearance.
The brand refresh strengthens the identity of the group – with a clear visual language, precise design systematics, and consistent brand communication across all media.
An appearance that unites two goals: Cohesion and individuality.
Each of the four business units stands on its own – with its own product portfolio, identity, and a clearly defined market segment. At the same time, they are connected by a common design framework that makes their affiliation with the Brückner Group visible.
This creates a brand image with a common DNA, in which each unit retains its individuality while also being recognizable as part of a strong corporate group.
Layout System
A well-thought-out layout system translates the brand identity into structure and clarity. It follows a few simple principles:
Form follows Message
Design arises from content. Creativity serves the statement, not decoration. Every visual decision has a function – it supports the message and directs the eye.
Space creates Impact
Whitespace is not empty space, but part of the design. It gives content weight, creates calm and orientation. Not everything has to fit on one page – generosity is part of the attitude.
Balance of Calm and Vibrancy
The visual basic mood is reduced and factual, accents arise through striking images and clear graphic elements. This creates tension in balance.
Image World
Technology meets humanity.
The visual language combines precision and quality with authenticity and warmth.
Two visual levels shape the appearance:
Technology – clear, reduced, and photorealistic. It conveys progress, precision, and efficiency.
Stories & People – real, approachable, and emotional. People in their work environment create context and show personality.
In interplay, an image world emerges that combines technological competence with human closeness.
Brückner Group – Illustration style for each Business Unit
Using the example of Packsys Global, the modular illustration style of the Brückner Group is shown: color-coordinated to the Business Unit, it combines precise technical representations and symbolic, simplified content. This creates a uniform, scalable visual language that makes complex processes understandable and can be flexibly used for different communication channels.
Here using the example of Packsys Global.
The Icon Library – A Modular System for Consistent Brand Communication
A component of the brand refresh was the development of a comprehensive icon library with over 500 icons, serving the Brückner Group as a visual tool for communication and sales.
The icons visualize complex processes and technical content clearly and intuitively – usable in print, web, and presentations.
The modular system ensures visual consistency and allows for quick expansion when new technical or communicative requirements arise.
Modular trade fair appearance of the Brückner Group for each Business Unit
For the Brückner Group, we developed a modular trade fair concept that consistently transfers the corporate design of the corporate group into the space. The goal is to present the entire group as well as each business unit – Brückner Maschinenbau, Brückner ServTec, Kiefel Technologies, and PackSys Global – visibly, independently, and at the same time, design-wise connected.
The design is based on a flexible, modular system that works for group and individual fairs of any size. An overarching visual bracket forms the common framework and provides orientation even from a distance. Below, clearly marked areas open up, which are precisely assigned through color, content, and spatial structure without fragmenting the overall appearance.
This concept enables a scalable, uniform, and easily adaptable trade fair presence that conveys complex content understandably, strengthens brand identity, and maximizes the visibility of the Brückner Group and its business units at every event.
Clear lines, defined levels of information, and a reduced materiality create professionalism and structure.
At the same time, hospitality areas and atmospheric lounges create closeness and conversation quality.
Regional references in the imagery connect the group's origin with the respective location.
The result is an internationally compatible, modular trade fair appearance that makes technological competence visible, strengthens brand identity, and allows the diversity of the corporate group to be spatially experienced in a consistent brand world.
